The 2011 GT-R's main changes include improving ride comfort, enhancing the navigation system features and adding auto on/off headlights. When auto on/off headlights are listed as the top 3 improvements, you know not much as changed. Nevertheless, Nissan has provided some great new pictures for our viewing enjoyment. And really, what else could they really have improved on?
Enhancements for 2011 include slightly darker wheel center caps, double clear coat on the front and rear fascias and the addition of rear cooling ducts to improve cooling performance around the rear floor area. The suspension has been retuned and the rear bushing strengthened to enhance ride comfort while still maintaining the GT-R’s outstanding handling. In addition, auto on/off headlights and speed-sensitive windshield wipers are now standard, along with a USB iPod® interface, Streaming Audio via Bluetooth® and DVD playback. The navigation system now includes XM NavTraffic® and NavWeather™ capability, along with premium points-of-interest (POI) information.

There is nothing that can beat this Japanese beast. Its just too heavy to drive in a city. This model of GTR is enuf to knock off a Dodge Viper v10/750hp in a drag.

I hope Nissan comes up with a v8 and 4.5ltr engine to bring down the Enzo on knees.

If Nissan makes the GT-R a bit more powerful it might be able to beat most supercars on the track.

Jordan, Nissan is bumping the power to the GT-R for 2012 but for the price of ZR1 Corvette you can get Bugatti Veyron speed. Check out this link!’

I saw the link, the gtr might also be redesigned for 2013-2014, so we’ll see what happens.

I hope it is redesigned, some sort of a new look, hopefully not as chunky as the original 08.

It should definitely be much faster.

I think the next GTR should be much lighter. 3800 lbs. is way to heavy for a high performance car. Hopefully they can get it down to somewhere close to 3000 lbs.

Then I would actually consider test-driving one, if it was 3000 lbs, and kept the same engine, because it already gets ground-breaking performance at 3800, so it would be a 0-60 3 second monster at 3000.

That would be awesome if it was around 3000lb. Especially for Nissan.

Many people bought it the way it is, so even more would if it is lighter, so it would be good for Nissan.

As I said, it would be awesome for Nissan, especially competing it with Ferraris and some Lambos.

Well, we have to see what other new Lambos there are, but the 3000 lb GT-R would dominate most of the supercar market, with big names like Porsche, Aston Martin, Maserati, and other things.

That is what I mean, a Nissan car in the supercar territory, pretty sweet.
