By converting the CCX to use biofuel, Koenigsegg was able to create an extreme performance machine that is also eco-friendly. This is a great idea for conscience but as an added bonus Koenigsegg was able to extract an additional 212 HP simply because of the change in fuel! How is this possible? The ethanol in the bio-fuel has a side effect of cooling the combustion chambers and featuring a higher octane value resulting in a total output of 1012 HP and 740 lbs. of torque.
