Ferrari F430 Pictures and Specifications

It's a tough task to follow one of the most beautiful cars ever created but Ferrari seems to have done a pretty good job with its successor to the 360 Modena.  Though they did not make radical changes, they gave it enough of a facelist to freshen it up while not losing the overall look.  As expected, performance is also improved thanks to its new lightweight 490 HP V8.  0-60 MPH is achieved in slightly less than 4 seconds with a top speed of 196 MPH.

Ferrari F430 Spider Pictures and Specifications

Proof that heaven exists and its origin is Modena, Italy.  I always said I'd be shocked with Ferrari ever came out with a better looking convertible than the 360 spider and they somehow managed to do it.  The spider weighs 154 lbs. more than coupe but with a 490 HP V8, I can't see anyone complaining about lack of speed.  Ferrari claims a 0-60 of 4.1 seconds and top speed of 193 MPH.  Considering the numbers the standard F430 put out, I would expect it to be even a few ticks faster than that.

2008 Ferrari 430 Scuderia Pictures and Specifications

The Ferrari 430 Scuderia is designed for those who are willing to give up some comfort to obtain the ultimate driving experience out of the 430 lineup.  Ferrari was able to shave 220 lbs. over the standard F430 while increasing horsepower from 483 to 510.  Expect a 0-60mph in the low 3's with a low 11 second 1/4 mile time.

Superb performance both on and off the track is assured by a series of cutting-edge solutions. There is the latest software - F1 Superfast - which reduces gearchange times to just 60 milliseconds, and new traction control which, for the first time, combines the E-Diff electronic differential and the F1-Trac traction and stability control in a single integrated system.

2010 Ferrari 430 Scuderia Spider 16M Pictures and Specifications

Featuring the same 510 hp as the Scuderia coupe, the Spider 16M is capable of a 0-60mph of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of 195mph.  Also helping those times is the 180 lbs. Ferrari cut off the base Spider lowering the curb weight to under 3000 lbs.  Ferrari claims it is the fastest open-top model they've ever tested on the Fiorano track (F50 included!).  This extremely limited edition 430 features a number of unique items such as a numbered plaque on the dash letting your lucky passengers know you own one of only 499 examples.  Also unique is a roll-bar with carbon-fibre outer shell and a specific new generation audio system that can be combined with the removable customised Ferrari iPod Touch 16 GB with central dock just in front of the dashboard.

Ferrari F430 Challenge Pictures and Specifications

The racing version of the F430 weighs in at just 2700 lbs. as weight has been reduced in every area of the car.  The F430 Challenge is also the first Ferrari competition car to feature Carbon Ceramic Brakes.
