Ascari is the surname of an Italian racing driver who was killed in 1955. The Ecosse means Scotland and is named this because the car’s creator made his money creating tools for the oil and gas industry in Scotland. The car took 4 years to develop and each car produced requires 450 hours of work.

The successor to the KZ1, features a modified V8 from the
BMW M5 putting out 600 HP and allowing for a 220 MPH top speed.   
You can opt for a standard 6 speed manual or choose an optional sequential
gearbox.  Production is limited to just 50 which when combined with a
$600,000 price tag, make it an extremely exclusive
supercar.
