Alfa Romeo 4C – Lightweight and Beautiful

Weighing in at only 1873 lbs., the Alfa Romeo 4C is actually slightly lighter than an Elise which means it should be one hell of a driver's car. It will feature a turbo-charged Inline 4 putting out slightly more than 200hp connected to a dual clutch transmission. 0-60mph is expected to be in the mid 4's.

The best part? It's coming to the US and Alfa plans to build 20,000 of them over a 5 year period. Price in Europe is expected to be around $62,000.

The 8C Competizione a true brand icon, evoking a great sports car tradition of which the name is part. In the Thirties and Forties, the '8c' signature that returns here, identified the racing and road cars that were equipped with the new eight cylinder engine developed by the famous engineer Vittorio Jano.
