The Europa is intended to be a more refined version of the
Elise. While still a 2 seater coupe, it features more luggage space,
easier cabin entrance, and a more refined ride. In typical Lotus
fashion, the Europa has an extremely low curb weight of 2194 lbs. and is
able to achieve good performance numbers out of only a 200 HP turbo-charged
inline-4. Unfortunately, the "easier cabin access" leads to a higher
ride height and makes the car look less sporty. I'm not a big fan of
its looks in general although it is starting to grow on me slightly.
Definitely no comparison to the Elise though.
