Mercedes SLR Mclaren Pictures and Specifications

The supercharged 600 hp V8 will propel the SLR to 60 in 3.8 seconds and a sub-12 second 1/4 mile. Top speed's not too shabby either at 205 MPH. Advanced technology includes a spoiler that rises according to speed and helps breaking. Mercedes has also brought back the air brake. At $300,000, the performance matches the price tag. Something that can't be said for most Mercedes.

  1. This is a beautiful designed model by the German Lords, but can be made even more pretty by adding a 4turbo charger engine and putting in some more efforts to increase the horsepower upto 750. This will keep the legendary Mclaren upto a good ranking in high speed definition cars.

I suggest a SLR v12/ 1100hp double intake system and twin turbo can drag with the Bugatti Veyron. (This may be a futuristic concept).

  3. Don’t forget to list the Stirling Moss. Its a different machine. Im not sure about the performance. I heard that it isn’t really designed for the track. That surprises me because the original SLR’s of the 1950′s, when Stirling Moss was racing. Those cars where designed for the track. Grated they were slower and not as sharp as the race cars today. These new cars have digital gauges, double clutch transmissions and traction settings. Back then it was all instincts, stamina and speed. The cars had gauge dials from the steering wheel over; reinforced soapbox construction. The drivers wore leather helmets and goggles. Stirling Moss may be in his 80′s, but has a very vivid memory of the times. The SLR car of his name will come and go, but his legacy is eternal. I believe he is still alive.
