Due to high demand, Dodge has made a coupe version of the SRT-10. The coupe features more structural rigidity and downforce than the convertible for increased performance. Since Dodge anticipates many of the new coupes will be used for racing, the roof was designed to allow extra room for wearing a helmet and accommodating a safety roll cage. The exterior design of the Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe, with its “double-bubble” roof and dramatic, unique rear styling with wrap-around taillamps reminiscent of the Viper GTS Coupe, is what sets it apart from its Convertible sibling – and connects it to the Viper heritage. For 2007, Dodge increased power output from its V10 from 500 to 600 HP. Thanks to 14 inch Brembo brakes the coupe stops from 60 in less than 100 feet.
