A Site Dedicated to the Cars I One Day Hope to Own

Lamborghini started the P140 project in the late 80's to produce a high volume sports car with a lower price.  The basic idea was to create a baby diablo.  The Cala is ItalDesign's interpretation of what the baby Diablo should look like.  Lamborghini provided one prototype of the P140 chassis and a 400 HP V10 for ItalDesign to complete their car.  Lamborghini recently produced the "baby Diablo" under the name Gallardo and although the design of the Cala wasn't adopted there are definitely some similarities between the two.
