The most civilized Ferrari ever produced. The engine
is tuned to be muted at idle as to not disturb the neighbors. It also
features an adaptive dampering system that senses roughness on the roads to
provide a smooth ride. If you're stuck in traffic, put the transmission
in automatic mode and it acts just like a regular automatic transmission.
Make no mistake though this is still a Ferrari once it hits the open road.
Change over the sport mode and the suspension stiffens as you change gears
using the clutchless SMG gearbox from the
360 Modena.
The 5.75 liter 515 horsepower V12 provides power on demand all the way up to
202 MPH. There was once a time when you almost had to be a race car
driver in order to successfully push a Ferrari to its limits without making
a fool out of yourself. Not the case here as the 575M is one of the
most forgiving sports cars ever created thanks to its stability and traction
control.
