The Camaro returns after an 8 year layoff and GM held true to its promise of keeping it close to the concept as possible. The base version comes with a 300 horsepower V6 while the SS version features 2 different engines depending on the transmission. Those opting to row their own gears will be treated to a 422 HP LS3 V8 while the automatic will feature a new L99 V8 based off the LS3 putting out 400HP. The L99 also features active fuel management which shuts down half the cylinders during cruising to help fuel economy.
