The biggest change with the next generation M3 is that it will feature a
high-revving V8 as opposed to the inline-6 of the previous generation.
And we all know what that means...even more power for BMW's top of the
line 3 series. The 2008 M3 get 414hp out of its 4.0 liter V8 which
is impressively over 100hp/liter. Rest assured, the new M3 will
feature a conventional 6 speed manual along with an optional SMG
paddle-shift transmission. Differentiating the M3 are 19
inch wheels, power-bulged aluminum hood, carbon fiber roof, and
more aggressive rear and front fascias. Technologically
speaking, it is everything I expected out of the new M3 however I feel
more could have been done to give it a more aggressive look.
