The new  S281 features a more aggressive look thanks to its lower front grille opening, rear spoiler and rear diffuser.  Under the hood is a 325 HP 4.6 liter V8 with the supercharged version making 400 HP.  A special version known as the S281-E (extreme) will feature 500 HP and will be introduced in the spring.  Handling is also improved thanks to special Saleen shocks, struts, and anti-roll bars while braking is improved with available 14 inch brakes.  Price for the base version is expected to be $38,000 with the supercharger upping the price to $45,000.
